My Language Roots

I was raised in a bilingual world—growing up in a Spanish-English Dual Immersion Program from kindergarten through 8th grade, where I learned to read, write, and speak in both languages every day. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for Spanish language and culture.

I later earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Southern California (USC), and studied abroad multiple times in both Spain and Latin America, deepening my linguistic and cultural fluency.

Teaching Experience

For almost 10 years, I’ve worked as a:

• Private Spanish tutor for K–12 students of all levels

• Homeschool instructor for bilingual and immersion-track learners

• Summer and after-school Spanish teacher for both beginners and heritage speakers

I specialize in creating immersive, creative, and culturally rich lessons that meet kids exactly where they are—whether they're just starting or already speaking Spanish at home.

Why I Created Summer of Spanish Aventura

I launched this program to give families an accessible, fun, and deeply educational Spanish experience—online and on your schedule.

I believe:

• All children benefit from learning a second language

• Spanish can be learned with joy, play, and purpose

• Small groups, engaging themes, and personal connection make all the difference

Summer of Spanish Aventura blends my love of teaching with my passion for helping students build confidence through language. Whether your child is learning Spanish for the first time or already understanding a fair bit, I’m here to guide their journey with warmth, structure, and cultural flair.
