Terms of Service & Enrollment Policies

Welcome to Summer of Spanish Aventura!
By enrolling in our program, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service and Enrollment Policies. These terms are designed to ensure a clear, supportive experience for all families participating in our live, Zoom-based Spanish classes.

Please read them carefully before registering.

1. Registration

Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited spots available in each class to maintain small-group learning. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment. You will receive a confirmation email, Zoom links, and a class calendar once your enrollment is processed.

2. Tuition & Payments

Tuition is due in full at the time of registration unless a monthly plan has been selected.
We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Venmo.

Your tuition includes:

  • Four (4) live classes per week (Monday–Thursday, 50 minutes each)

  • Themed curriculum and digital resources

  • Optional printable activities

  • Progress support and a certificate of completion

Prices are listed clearly on the Tuition page. Payment must be completed prior to the start of class.

3. Sibling Discounts

Families enrolling more than one child are eligible for the following discounts:

  • 10% off tuition for the second child

  • 15% off tuition for the third child and beyond

Discounts will be applied manually after registration or through a custom invoice.

4. Missed Classes

We understand that summer schedules can be unpredictable. If your child misses class:

  • You will receive a summary of what was covered and any related materials

  • We will work with your child in the following session to help them catch up

  • Class recordings are not provided due to privacy concerns of other students

There is no penalty for occasional absences, and your child will not fall behind.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund eligibility:

  • Cancel 1 week or more before your session starts: Full refund minus a $25 processing fee

  • Cancel within 7 days of the first class or after the first class: 50% refund.

  • Cancel after the second class: No refunds, but you may request a credit for future sessions (valid for Summer 2025).

Refunds and credits are not issued for missed classes, illness, vacations, or technical difficulties once the session begins.

6. Class Cancellations

If a class must be canceled due to teacher illness or emergency, a make-up class or alternative option will be offered.
In the rare event of program disruption, families will receive class credit or refunds as appropriate.

7. Technology Requirements

To participate in classes, each student will need:

  • A stable internet connection

  • A computer or tablet with camera and microphone

  • Zoom installed (free version is fine)
    We are not responsible for missed classes due to internet or device issues, though we’ll do our best to help students stay on track.

8. Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and encouraging environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in a student being removed from a session or program without refund. Parents will be notified if any concerns arise.

9. Privacy & Media Use

By enrolling, you agree to the use of your child’s first name and likeness (photo or video) in group class screenshots or anonymous promotional materials, such as on our website or social media.
If you prefer to opt out, please notify us in writing at info@summerofspanishaventura.com.

We will never share full names, personal information, or private recordings without your consent.

10. Parent Responsibility

Because this is a virtual program, all students remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian during class time. Summer of Spanish Aventura is not responsible for any injuries or incidents occurring in the child’s home environment during online sessions.

11. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and all families will be notified of any major changes.
